The best thing to do is to consult your doctor before contacting a specialist or entering the clinic. Consultations in the hospital or a specialist have to be discussed with your GP beforehand. However, you must inform him at least before the first visit.
He knows you well and can help you to evaluate your medical situation. Often our GP's are responding their phone even out of office times, even at night. But do not forget: no one is always available.
If your GP is not available please call the our GP emergency number available 24 hours 365 days.
In acutely life threatening situations, it may be useful to call directly the ambulance (144).
You have always the right to apply directly to the emergency department of the nearest hospital.
