Quality of Service

Quality Circles

Quality Circles

The quality circle is the basis for quality work in the every gatekeppers network.

The GPs of every district in Bern meet regularly during the year to exchange ideas, to discuss Critical incidences, case studies, new Guidelines and medicoeconomical subjects.

Our GPs are organized in 10 different quality circles, the most important are the following: Bern Bümpliz, Bern Elfenau, Bern Länggasse, Bern Nord, Bern Wabern.

Mednetbern accepted all those quality circles, which guarantee the fulfillment of mednetbern's quality concept. Through our quality circles we collaborate with other GP Networks in the region.

The so-called Critical Incident Reporting Systems (CIRS) is a specially for the medical field created, anonymous electronic reporting system that our doctors can use to publish and discuss important events regarding their patients safety.

Our GP Quality circles use the CIRS learning Tool regularly in their meetings.

Emergency Contacts

First, call your GP - He knows you best.

The best thing to do is to consult your doctor before contacting a specialist or entering the clinic. Consultations in the hospital or a specialist have to be discussed with your GP beforehand. However, you must inform him at least before the first visit.
